Jenny Hoppie is an attorney with a deep commitment to advocating for individuals and families affected by injury and loss.
Before passing the bar, Jenny spent more than 25 years working as a civil litigation paralegal. She sat across the table from clients at some of the worst moments of their lives, learned how cases actually move through the court system, and figured out what it takes to get people real results. By the time she went to law school, she wasn’t learning theory in the abstract. She already knew the work.
Going back to school wasn’t simple. Jenny earned her undergraduate degree from Utah Valley University in 2018 while working full-time and raising her family. She then attended BYU’s J. Reuben Clark Law School, graduating in 2022 after navigating law school through a pandemic and the death of her husband in her final year. She finished anyway.
Those experiences show up in how she works with clients. She’s not easily rattled, and she doesn’t treat people like case numbers. She understands that the civil justice system can feel overwhelming to the people who need it most, and she takes seriously the responsibility of helping them through it.
Outside the office, Jenny volunteers with legal clinics and supports programs focused on education and opportunities for women and families. She’s also an outdoor enthusiast who spends her free time paddleboarding, hiking, and snowshoeing across Utah.
