Matt Schmoldt is the owner of Creekside Injury Law, a Utah personal injury law firm serving clients all across the state. Admitted to the Utah State Bar in 2017, Matt founded Creekside Injury Law in 2019 with one goal: to stand up for injured Utahns against insurance companies that would rather pay pennies on the dollar than do the right thing.
From Washington to Utah, By Choice
Matt grew up in Washington State and first came to Utah in 2005 to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He fell in love with the people, the mountains, and the way of life. Then he fell in love with his future wife while they were both students at Utah State University. They’ve been married since 2008 and now live in Hyde Park, Utah, with their three children (two boys and a girl), their dog, and two cats. When he isn’t fighting insurance companies, you’ll usually find him on a golf course somewhere in Utah.

The Schmoldt Promise
Matt’s mission is simple. He wants every client to be better off for having worked with him. That means real communication, real advocacy, and real results. It means making the insurance company pay what’s fair. And it means treating people with the kindness and respect they deserve during one of the hardest moments of their lives.
If you’ve been injured anywhere in Utah, Matt offers a free, no-obligation consultation and works on contingency. You pay nothing unless he wins your case. Creekside Injury Law also charges lower fees than other Utah personal injury law firms, so more of your settlement stays in your pocket.
