Sandra Westwood has been a Paralegal at Creekside Injury Law since January
2021, bringing more than five years of focused personal injury experience to the team. Her work happens largely behind the scenes, but it’s some of the most important work the firm does. Without accurate records, organized billing, and clean subrogation, even the strongest injury case can lose value. Sandra makes sure that never happens.

A Cache Valley Life

Sandra grew up in Duchesne, Utah, a small town she still loves. She met her husband, Kevin, while they were both attending the College of Eastern Utah (now USU Eastern), where she earned her Associate of Science. The couple moved to Logan, where they continued their education at Utah State University, and they quickly discovered they never wanted to leave. As Sandra puts it, Cache Valley is “a peaceful, beautiful place to live.” She and Kevin have built their life and family here ever since.

What Sandra Does for Clients

Sandra’s role at Creekside Injury Law touches almost every stage of an injury case:

  • Sending Letters of Representation to insurance companies
  • Sending subrogation notices to health insurers and lienholders
  • Requesting and paying for police reports
  • Requesting and paying for medical records and billing records on behalf of
    clients
  • Confirming that every medical facility has the client’s PIP and health
    insurance information
  • Confirming final balances and payoff instructions as cases move toward
    settlement

It’s work that takes patience, persistence, and the ability to ask the right questions.
Every hospital, billing department, and insurance carrier operates a little differently, and Sandra has built strong relationships and clean processes that get the information clients need, accurately and on time.

Family and Community

Sandra and Kevin are raising seven children together (two girls and five boys), so most of her time outside the office revolves around her kids’ hobbies, sports, and school activities.

She currently serves on the Juniper Ridge Middle School Community Council and has volunteered with numerous PTA groups over the years.

Off the Clock

When Sandra isn’t running between practices, games, and school events, she enjoys daily walks with her beloved dog Penny, curling up with a good book, and going out to dinner with friends. She is also a dedicated language learner with an impressive 2,400+ day Duolingo streak (a running joke in the Westwood household). She’s studying Spanish, but recently added Korean to the mix.
